I am available to speak to parent groups, either established or new forming, and agencies, such as school districts, private schools, centers for Applied Behavior Analysis, and private practices. These topics address problems associated with complex and severe speech and language issues of those with and without physical disabilities.
My speaking involvement also includes presentations to Professional Conferences for Speech Pathologists, Special Education personnel, and other professionals in associated fields, such as dentists.
Parents Speaking Engagements.
Parent speaking engagements are available at both formal and informal parent groups.
The presentation length varies from 1 – 2 hours, depending on the topic.
Venues are available at either your location or at AAC on the Lakeshore, PLLC (size dependent).
Topics vary according to the parent group’s interest.
A host of topics of interest are available to parents. These topics address concerns that many parents have about their child’s communication problems. Some of these concerns include the following:
When should I begin to worry about my child’s communication difficulty?
How do I help my child with communicating at home?
My child is being frustrated with communicating and shuts down at times. What should I do?
Are there parent resources available to me?
Relatives are asking questions about my child’s communication. What do I tell them as well as my other children?

Speaking engagements at agencies are available for small group or large group presentations.
The presentation length varies from 1 – 3 hours, depending on the topic.
Venues occur at a place of the agency’s choosing.

What are the Evidence-Based strategies used by AAC professionals to enlist communication for those with complex and severe physical and speech/language disabilities?

Is there a way to collaborate with other agencies or professionals on behalf of the individual?
